Today I got to meet my roommate, Joe. He's a cool dude. I'm bummed I didn't really have time to hang out with him just cause of my soccer schedule and I basically just said I to him and that was about it. I guess we have the whole year to get to know each other so it'll be alright. Overall he seems nice and I'm happy to be rooming with him.
Todays' morning training went well. We played for a little over an hour and it was the first morning session we didn't have to do a fitness test before training. Everyone was fresh and we were knocking the ball around real nice.
After that the day seemed to fly by. I met up with Mom who made the trip via Metro and we had lunch and whatnot but didn't really hang out with her that much. I bought all of my books except two and it's crazy how expensive they are. My Calc book was $300. Ridiculous. After that the team helped move people in for an hour; we didn't really do anything haha but its good to do some service.
This evenings training was a different story. I was so tired; it was the first day without a nap. We scrimmaged with a couple of hopeful walk-ons and I just was not feeling it. Gave the ball up too much and am pretty disappointed about it. I guess every training can't be your best but I just know I have to be better. After practice, Coach finalized the roster after making a few cuts so the roster should be put up soon and we should be getting our gear sometime soon as well. Can't wait to get the gear. Gonna be real nice.
That's about it for the day. Geaz moved in today in my building so we hung out a little tonight but I can't stay up late to meet everyone; training is at 7 in the morning. Supposedly we're going for three-a-day tomorrow so hopefully that is better than today's session. Just working for some playing time.
